Why ? Because it is very normal for us in the factory to work on "overnight samples" because we received the email request on the last moment.
There are usually 3-5, sometimes 6 middlemen in between us and the end company. When the company request for a change, they would send it to the American company (who claims they have their own factory) Then, they forward the request to their HK representative (who also claims they have their own factory). The Hong Kong representatives are usually very busy because they are usually the ones who speaks the most English = American feels very comfortable talking to. That is why 80% of all American packaging orders are first subbed to Hong Kong companies who claims they are Factory Direct.
Most of the delay comes from the Hong Kong agents because they are usually the most busy and don't really respect us factories since they are never in the factory themselves. They think everything can happen like instant noodle.
They take the longest time to forward the email according to our email tracking record, even Americans are more responsible and forward it within hrs to a day max.
That Looks very Professional
But they can never get your package sample within 3 weeks.
